 Wotif.com is one of the world’s first discounted online accommodation websites. Founded in Australia in 2000 the company opened its European office in 2002 in response to growing demand from its growing number of users. Wotif now has just under 20,000 hotels in more than 50 countries worldwide.  Sketch London was first conceived in 2007 and is run by James Coulbault and Kristel Tracey who are both based in the London office. “Sketch London came about because we were looking for a way to get some more designs for one of our marketing campaigns - namely Oyster card wallets. We considered using a traditional designer but decided in the end that we really wanted something fresh. So we put the money that we would have spent up as a prize and decided to see what London could come up with. It really was trial by fire as we didn’t know what to expect, but we were 100% committed to using one of the entries as a design – thankfully when the sketches actually started rolling in the standard was really high and the creativity shown was superb” Sketch London has been promoted through both the London Sketch Club and the six colleges that make up the London University of Arts but the majority of awareness is raised through social networks like Twitter, facebook & Gumtree.
